Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and integrate automated systems within production, collaborating with production and maintenance teams.
- Test, validate, calibrate, and troubleshoot automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve processes using lean and continuous improvement methods.
- Lead automation projects from planning to completion, coordinating with vendors and managing timelines and budgets.
- Ensure automated systems comply with safety standards, perform risk assessments, and maintain necessary documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field; A Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
- Experience with PLC programming, HMI systems, and industrial control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, C++, Python, or similar; strong understanding of robotics, mechatronics, and industrial automation technologies.
- Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written) is required for business communication.
