Company Background:
This company is a newly established manufacturing company located in Senai. They specialize in producing cables for high-reliability connectors. As a key player in the global supply chain, the company serves various industries including automotive, medical healthcare, marine, telecommunications, logistics, railway, and others. With a strong international presence, they operate more than 10 sales outlets worldwide.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the QA operations within the facility, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to standards.
- Support US/Euro customer teams during line audits and visits, providing necessary documentation, evidence, and on-site coordination.
- Lead and manage the ISO 9001 certification process, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality management standards and guidelines.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures, including testing, inspection, and process audits, to ensure high-quality production standards.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and recommend solutions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure that all quality documentation is accurately maintained, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess the effectiveness of quality management systems and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Implement and maintain quality metrics to measure and track performance, with a focus on reducing defects and improving efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to the QA team to enhance their skills and ensure consistent quality across all production stages.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, production, and logistics, to ensure the timely resolution of quality-related issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance quality and productivity.
- Review and approve customer specifications to ensure product design and development meet quality standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA management, specifically supporting US/Euro customer teams during line audits and visits.
- Extensive knowledge of the ISO 9001 certification process and its implementation in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in Chinese (both written and spoken) to deal with the management team in China and ensure smooth communication across teams.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on quality improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in quality-related matters.
- Ability to develop and implement quality systems and processes to meet industry standards.
- Proficient in quality management tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in high-reliability connectors or similar industries, is a plus.
