Job Description:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, and monitor financial performance against targets.
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries, ensuring timely and accurate financial transaction processing and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and delivering insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to support business operations, and implement strategies to improve working capital efficiency.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls, and proactively identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, support budgeting processes, and provide financial guidance to department heads.
- Audit Support: Coordinate internal and external audits, provide necessary documentation, and implement audit recommendations to enhance financial processes.
- Production Costing: Allocate budgets for business activities, monitor and control costs, and perform cost analysis to identify savings and improve cost efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (especially AutoCount) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, costing, and regulatory compliance.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem solver with a positive attitude. Capable of leading and developing a team of accounting staff.
- Proficient in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
- Based in Kulai. Applicants willing to relocate to Johor are welcome.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Salary Range: MYR 9,000 - MYR 11,000
