Construction Manager
About the job Construction Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement, and maintain QMS.
- Oversee the entire construction process
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Perform regular quality audits and inspections of construction work, materials, and subcontractors.
- Ensure that construction projects are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Provide training to project teams and subcontractors on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues, including managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), identifying root causes, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken.
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, audits, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance and project review.
- Prepare periodic quality reports for senior management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding quality concerns and ensure effective communication to address any issues or updates.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English as most of the clients are from China.
Remuneration:
