About the job Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement, and maintain QMS.
  • Oversee the entire construction process
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Perform regular quality audits and inspections of construction work, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure that construction projects are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
  • Provide training to project teams and subcontractors on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues, including managing non-conformance reports (NCRs), identifying root causes, and ensuring corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, audits, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance and project review. 
  • Prepare periodic quality reports for senior management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders regarding quality concerns and ensure effective communication to address any issues or updates.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English as most of the clients are from China.

Remuneration:
