Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation systems to streamline and enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems into existing workflows.
  • Utilize SolidWorks to create 3D models, assemblies, and prototypes for new automation systems and components.
  • Lead the design and development of prototypes, testing their functionality and iterating as necessary to meet project goals.
  • Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain automation programs using suitable programming languages (e.g., PLCs, robotics, SCADA systems, etc.).
  • Conduct Process Improvement initiatives to optimize workflow efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance productivity.
  • Implement and enforce QAQC standards.
  • Perform testing and validation of automation systems to ensure they operate according to specifications.
  • Continuously analyze and identify opportunities for improvements in automation processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to teams on automation technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in M&E, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
  • Proven experience in SolidWorks design for automation or manufacturing applications.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and development of new automation systems.
  • Knowledge of automation programming languages and tools (PLC, HMI, SCADA, etc.).
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies is preferable.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English, in order to have smooth conversation within colleagues and superior.
