Equipment Engineer | Pasir Gudang

Company Background:

Our client company, with its headquarters in Japan, is set to establish a new manufacturing facility at Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. This plant will focus on electromechanical assembly and advanced material fabrication for semiconductor equipment, designed to meet customer needs while also expanding the company's global business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Develop and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and lifespan.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain schedules.
• Support the procurement and installation of new equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in equipment maintenance or engineering.
• Fluent in Mandarin as need to communicate with China's team members.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve technical issues quickly.
• Willingness to undergo 3 months of training in China.
