Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for data center solutions in Singapore.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hyperscale data center market.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the data center industry.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding clients needs and providing tailored solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (R&D, manufacturing, and operations) in Shanghai and Malaysia to ensure timely delivery and customization of solutions.
- Act as the liaison for customer requirements, ensuring alignment between client expectations and manufacturing capabilities.
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Establish and implement strategic sales plans to position the company as aa key player in the data center market in Singapore.
Market Insights:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the data center market.
- Provide feedback to R&D for product improvement based on market insights.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Masters degree (MBA) is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven track record of 5+ years in sales or business development in the data center or technology industry.
- Familiarity with prefabricated modular data centers or related infrastructure solutions is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the hyperscale data center industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is a must to liaise effectively with teams and clients in China.
