Senior Technician / Junior Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking two skilled and motivated Senior Technicians and Junior Engineers to join our expanding team at our Malaysia factory, which will soon operate at full capacity. The ideal candidates will have technical diplomas or certificates and relevant working experience in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred, as it will be essential for communication within the team and the operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of machines, identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance on production lines and machinery to ensure smooth operation
• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve production processes and efficiency
• Document maintenance work, repair activities, and equipment status
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all operations and maintenance tasks
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to junior team members
• Prepare and submit reports on machine performance, downtime, and other key metrics
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and manufacturing techniques

Requirements:

• For Senior Technician:
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Technical diploma or certificate in Engineering or a related field
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and manuals
  • Chinese language skills (both spoken and written) are preferred
• For Junior Engineer:
  • At least 1-2 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry (entry-level candidates with relevant internship experience may also apply)
  • Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering or a related field
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery operations
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Chinese language skills (both spoken and written) are preferred.
