Quality Engineer | Pekan Nanas

Company Background

This company is a newly established company and they have a total of 6 plants. specializes in engineering, designing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality, performance-driven products across various segments. They primarily produce reliable tools for the power tool industry, with their headquarters based in the USA. Their company is located at Pekan Nanas, Johor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control and assurance procedures across production or service processes.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues through data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits, prepare reports, and support external audits when necessary.
• Maintain documentation related to quality processes, including inspection reports, SOPs, and corrective action logs.
• Assist in managing non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics and recommend improvement actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and customer requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of working experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001), inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written) is required for business communication. 

Salary Range: MYR5,500 - 8,500
