SMT Engineer

Company Background:

This company is a newly established company and they have a total of 6 plants. specializes in engineering, designing, manufacturing, and distributing high-quality, performance-driven products across various segments. They primarily produce reliable tools for the power tool industry, with their headquarters based in the USA. Their company is located at Pekan Nanas, Johor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain SMT machines (e.g., pick-and-place, reflow oven, solder paste printer, AOI/AXI).

• Assist in programming SMT machines and optimizing production setups.

• Monitor and troubleshoot line issues to ensure continuous production flow.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance and calibration on SMT equipment.

• Ensure quality standards are met through inspection and testing.

• Support process improvement and yield enhancement activities.

• Document production processes and machine parameters.

• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in SMT manufacturing or PCB assembly.

• Basic knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.

• Familiarity with IPC standards is a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills in Mandarin and English and teamwork abilities.
