Job Descriptions:
- Perform hands-on work with manufacturing equipment during the initial stage to ensure proper setup and functionality.
- Collaborate with the China team to acquire in-depth technical expertise and knowledge transfer.
- Train, mentor, and guide new technicians to ensure they acquire the necessary skills for equipment operation and maintenance.
- Develop training materials and manuals for equipment usage and troubleshooting.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance to ensure efficiency and address potential issues proactively.
- Implement strategies for equipment optimization and reliability to support production demands.
- Lead and manage the equipment team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to ensure seamless operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Stay updated on industry advancements to recommend and adopt innovative solutions.
- Ensure all equipment complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in equipment management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes, particularly in cable production or high-reliability connectors.
- Hands-on experience with equipment setup and troubleshooting.
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and guide technicians effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with international teams.
- Willingness to travel for training or business purposes if required.
- Fluent in Chinese (both written and spoken) to deal with the management team in China and ensure smooth communication across teams.
