Job Description (JD)
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers regarding product quality issues and inquiries
- Handle customer complaints and lead problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, RCA, and CAPA
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Process, Engineering, NPI) to investigate and resolve quality issues
- Provide timely feedback, reports, and corrective action updates to customers
- Monitor customer quality performance metrics (e.g., PPM, complaints, returns) and drive improvement initiatives
- Support customer audits, factory visits, and quality system assessments
- Ensure customer-specific requirements are understood and implemented internally
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) to ensure customer quality expectations are met
- Review and approve quality documentation such as control plans, inspection standards, and test reports
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce defects
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with ISO / IATF standards
Job Requirements (JR)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing or related field)
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Customer Quality / Quality Assurance within automation or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of 8D, RCA, CAPA, SPC, and basic quality tools
- Experience handling customer complaints and audits is a must
- Familiar with automation equipment, assembly processes, or precision manufacturing is an advantage
- Good understanding of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 quality systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer expectations
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work cross-functionally and under pressure to meet customer timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting)
- Willing to travel if required for customer visits
- Mandarin speaker is an advantage (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders)
