Equipment Engineer | Senai

Job Responsibilities: 

• Install, wire, set up, and commission production equipment including injection molding, assembly, cleaning, baking, and gluing machines. 
• Perform daily fault troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and acceptance, and establish monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance and calibration plans. 
• Train equipment operators and ensure full competency and certification within three months of onboarding. 
• Enhance equipment efficiency and yield, reduce labor and maintenance costs, and minimize equipment downtime and losses. 
• Ensure safe equipment operation in compliance with health and safety regulations, and prepare, standardize, and archive equipment manuals, operating SOPs, and maintenance SOPs.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 2 years in equipment-related roles; strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills with a high sense of responsibility. 
• Solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems; quick at learning non-standard equipment structure and operation. 
• Familiar with injection molding, assembly, cleaning, and baking processes; skilled in tooling/fixture design, measurement tools, quality analysis, and NPI development; proficient in basic office software. 
• Able to create equipment SOPs, maintain asset ledgers, evaluate equipment capability, control operating costs, and perform safety/risk assessments. 
• Strong task planning and execution skills; experienced in training and evaluating equipment operators for competency.

Working Location: Senai, Johor 

Working Hours: 5 days per week
