R&D Engineer | Ulu Tiram

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for planning, execution, and control of development schedules for assigned R&D projects.
• Lead the conversion, preparation, and documentation of all drawings, technical documents, and process data during NPI, including execution of development plans and preparation of special characteristics lists, process flow charts, and FMEA.
• Arrange, track, and supervise new product sample builds and experimental testing; review, confirm, and summarize test results and reports.
• Develop improvement plans for existing products and be responsible for proposing and implementing product enhancement initiatives.
• Conduct material confirmation, sample analysis, and experimental testing; prepare and submit testing reports.
• Be responsible for product technical transfer and production handover, including manufacturing technical briefings.
• Prepare, update, convert, and follow up on all project-related technical documentation required for new and existing products (e.g., BOM, SOP, etc.).
• Design, fabricate, and continuously improve production tooling and fixtures for new products.
• Assist in guiding and supervising R&D design activities of direct subordinates, including progress tracking.
• Complete other tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Mechanical engineering or related disciplines
• Strong product development capability
• Knowledge of product quality and engineering management
• Proficient in the application of FMEA tools
• Minimum of 3 years experience in electronics products or precision manufacturing industries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Skilled in SolidWorks and CAD software
• CET-4 or above
• Fluent in Chinese and English, in order to have smooth conversation with internal team.
