Job Description

  • Assist in managing the overall Quality Management System (QMS) and daily quality operations, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and customer quality activities.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and work closely with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Handle customer complaints, audit findings, and quality escalations, ensuring timely resolution and effective follow-up actions.
  • Support internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits while ensuring audit readiness across operations.
  • Analyze quality KPIs, process capability, yield performance, and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, NPI, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout manufacturing processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop quality personnel while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within EMS, or electronic components industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or assistant managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Hands-on experience in IQC, IPQC, OQC, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, and NPI quality activities.
  • Proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, RCCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
  • Experience handling customer complaints, quality escalations, audit findings, and corrective action management.
  • Familiar with customer audits, internal audits, supplier audits, and certification audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, process quality control, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Good leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
