Job Description
- Assist in managing the overall Quality Management System (QMS) and daily quality operations, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and customer quality activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve yield, and enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and work closely with suppliers to drive continuous quality improvement.
- Handle customer complaints, audit findings, and quality escalations, ensuring timely resolution and effective follow-up actions.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and certification audits while ensuring audit readiness across operations.
- Analyze quality KPIs, process capability, yield performance, and quality trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, NPI, and Supply Chain teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout manufacturing processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop quality personnel while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Electronics, Manufacturing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within EMS, or electronic components industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or assistant managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Hands-on experience in IQC, IPQC, OQC, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, and NPI quality activities.
- Proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, RCCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
- Experience handling customer complaints, quality escalations, audit findings, and corrective action management.
- Familiar with customer audits, internal audits, supplier audits, and certification audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret quality data and drive improvement initiatives.
- Experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, process quality control, and continuous improvement projects.
- Good leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
