Job Responsibilities

  • Establish and optimize food safety, safety, and quality management systems across overseas countries.
  • Manage food safety risks across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, and other countries.
  • Control safety and compliance risks of raw materials and products through inspection activities.
  • Monitor food safety regulations in different countries and conduct training, evaluations, and follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Conduct regional supplier and raw material risk assessments, and develop risk registers and improvement plans.
  • Participate in investigations of major food safety or quality incidents and coordinate third-party assessments when necessary.
  • Conduct internal factory audits and supplier audits across different countries.
  • Analyze regional food safety, safety performance, and customer complaint data to identify key issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Handle ad-hoc food safety tasks, including urgent matters, special projects, and management assignments.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a background in Food Science, Food Engineering, Biology, or Quality Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior food safety role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
  • Experience in cross-country supplier management or multi-region audits is preferred.
  • Able to communicate and prepare reports in both Chinese and English, in order to have smooth conversation within internal and external team.
  • Possess strong analytical, risk assessment, and communication skills.
  • Able to handle ad-hoc tasks, respond to urgent issues, and collaborate with various departments.
  • Willing to work across countries and travel when required.
