Job Description (JD)
  • Handle the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts and financial statements accurately and on time.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and related financial procedures.
  • Monitor cash flow, daily banking transactions and payment arrangements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, payment processing and collection follow-ups.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, inventory valuation and financial planning.
  • Coordinate annual audit activities and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks and relevant government authorities.
  • Ensure financial transactions and accounting practices comply with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, financial documents and supporting vouchers for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with tax submissions and other financial compliance matters.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, internal controls and financial reporting processes.
  • Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements (JR)
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end closing is required.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems, with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
  • Responsible, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
Salary Range: RM6k - RM8k
