Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Design & Technical Documentation

• Design, develop, and customize electrical systems, components, and solutions for company products.
• Review product drawings, electrical BOM, material specifications, and process documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare electrical process specifications, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, ensure designs comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

2. Process Engineering & Tooling Support

• Lead tooling design and process planning based on product electrical drawings.

• Improve and optimize existing production processes to enhance product quality and reduce cost.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, materials, and electrical engineering methods.

3. Production Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide timely and accurate technical support to the production workshop.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during manufacturing to ensure smooth operations.
• Offer onsite support for equipment stability, including robot arm programming, PLC program design, and improvement.
• Conduct training for production operators on electrical process, equipment usage, and safety.

• Supervise process discipline compliance in the workshop.

4. Equipment & Cost Management

• Assist in controlling manufacturing cost of welding and other electrical equipment optimizing BOM, reducing waste, and monitoring budget deviation.
• Implement continuous equipment improvement to reduce labor and material costs.

• Complete at least two major electrical/equipment optimization actions annually.

5. Commissioning, Maintenance & Safety

• Lead the design, commissioning, and maintenance planning of electrical systems.

• Review and approve technical specifications for electrical components and equipment procurement.
• Identify electrical safety hazards, initiate corrective actions, and take immediate emergency measures when needed.

• Improve equipment uptime and ensure safe and effective maintenance practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and computer science.

• Knowledge of circuit theory, power systems, electromagnetics, and digital logic design.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering or process engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Circuit design and analysis

• Simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE)

• PLC programming & robot arm programming (added from your notes)

• Electrical troubleshooting and process documentation

• Familiar with electrical standards, codes, and safety requirements

Salary Range: up to RM10k

Location: Senai

Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm
