Job Descriptions:

Government Liaison & Compliance 政府联络与合规
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, including MIDA, MITI, Royal Malaysian Customs (JKDM), DOSH, DOE, and local municipal councils.
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor progress for various applications such as Manufacturing Licenses, Import Duty Exemptions, and Tax Incentives.
  • Stay updated on the latest Malaysian government policies, circulars, and regulatory changes affecting the manufacturing sector.
Executive Administration 行政管理
  • Manage the DGM's daily schedule, including internal meetings, site visits, and external appointments with government officials.
  • Prepare official correspondence, including formal letters in Bahasa Malaysia (Surat Rasmi) and English.
  • Organize and maintain a systematic filing system for sensitive corporate and regulatory documents.
Communication & Representation 沟通与代表
  • Accompany the DGM to official meetings with government bodies to take minutes and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Confidently engage with government officers to resolve queries or expedite application processes.
    
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience.
  • Direct experience dealing with MIDA (for licensing/incentives) and Malaysian Customs (for LMW/exemptions) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective government liaison.
  • Familiarity with the Industrial Co-ordination Act 1975 and government online portals such as the InvestMalaysia Portal.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build rapport with regulatory officers.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Salary Range: RM3k - RM6k
