Job Responsibilities
- Develop inbound material plans on a weekly basis based on customer demand, internal inventory levels, and related data.
- Update demand forecasts (FCST) to suppliers weekly and ensure suppliers prepare materials in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Issue purchase orders accurately and promptly according to material plans and order gaps.
- Follow up on material deliveries and coordinate supplier lead times to ensure internal production and shipment requirements are met.
- Provide timely feedback and handle quality issues, including reconciliation and charge-back arrangements.
- Proactively update the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) on project procurement progress, drive corrective actions for exceptions, and enhance overall project contribution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above, with at least 2 years of experience in direct material procurement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong working knowledge of Excel functions.
- Good communication skills, strong numerical and analytical abilities, and logical thinking.
- Highly motivated, responsible, and capable of effective cross-functional collaboration.
