Job Responsibilities:
- Support the setup, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes for the WIPER BU production lines.
- Develop and maintain process flow, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process parameters.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Analyze process data and production issues; apply structured problem-solving methodologies (PDCA, 5 Why, 8D, DMAIC) to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), pilot runs, and mass production ramp-up activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and R&D to ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Monitor and control WIP, cycle time, and process capability (CP/CPK) to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Ensure processes comply with automotive quality standards, safety regulations, and company requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives within the production area.

Assist in equipment selection, line layout design, and capacity planning for the new plant setup.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in process engineering or production engineering within a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience is an advantage.
- Experience in production line setup, process optimization, and continuous improvement activities.
- Familiar with manufacturing process control, work instruction development, and basic statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of automotive quality systems (e.g. IATF 16949, ISO 9001) is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, new plant/start-up environment.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese is an advantage.
