Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities from trial production planning to mass production readiness.

Develop and manage trial production documents (e.g., risk assessment, validation matrix) to ensure equipment, tooling, and material readiness.

Execute pilot runs according to APQP, monitor key metrics, and achieve FPY 90% during launch.

Identify and resolve trial issues (design flaws, process bottlenecks) using DOE and structured problem-solving.

Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams on design changes, material readiness, and issue closure.

Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics to ensure smooth trial execution and minimize downtime.

Deliver manufacturability assessments and propose design/process optimizations for mass production.

Develop standardized launch manuals, process databases, and error-proofing guidelines to improve efficiency.
Job Requirements:

Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years experience in automotive components, with at least 2 full-cycle NPI projects (motor-related preferred).
- Familiar with IATF 16949, VDA standards, and automotive manufacturing processes (e.g., stator winding, rotor balancing).
- Skilled in project management (MS Project, JIRA) and quality tools (Minitab, FMEA, DOE).
- Strong cross-functional leadership, problem-solving, and bilingual communication skills (Chinese & English).
- Preference for PMP certification, local supply chain knowledge, or experience in new energy motor projects.
Salary Range: RM4000 - RM7000
