Job Descriptions
- Ensure workplace compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) guidelines and applicable safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace safety policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.
- Conduct safety induction and training programs for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, incident reports, and investigation reports.
- Assist in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Manage and monitor Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety signage, and first aid facilities to ensure proper availability and maintenance.
- Liaise with government authorities and external regulatory bodies regarding safety matters.
- Stay updated on the latest safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Manage company insurance, licenses, agreements, and service contracts.
- Coordinate company vehicle-related matters including maintenance, VEP, Autopass, Touch 'n Go, and transportation arrangements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Management, Environmental Health, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in safety management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Must possess a valid Green Book certification.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements, safety regulations, standards, and compliance practices.
- Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, training, and incident reporting.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in managing workplace safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to work independently and collaborate with internal teams and external parties.
- Strong awareness of safety compliance and risk management practices.
