Maintenance Technician | Senai Eco Business Park

Company Summary:

Our client founded in 1971 and headquartered in USA, is a plastics manufacturing company specializing in high-performance plastic hoses and piping solutions. Its products are widely used across medical, industrial, commercial, and consumer sectors. Our client has been integrated into the Plastiflex Group and continues to expand its global manufacturing and market presence, including a production facility in Johor, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of extrusion machines and related equipment.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose issues related to PLC systems, motors, heaters, and sensors.
• Respond promptly to extrusion line breakdowns and carry out corrective actions.
• Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine performance and reliability.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in extrusion machine maintenance will be highly preferable.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, motors, heaters, and sensors.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve extrusion line breakdowns.
• Willing to work on shifts and be on standby for machine failures.
  
• Fluent in Mandarin communicate in order to have smooth conversation within internal team.

Additional Information:

• Work Location: Eco Business Park, Senai
• Working Hours: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (5 days, inclusive of 2 hours overtime daily)
• Salary: Up to RM4k
