Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all plant operations including production, quality, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and EHS.
  • Drive manufacturing excellence in electronics production, ensuring delivery, quality, cost, and safety targets are achieved.
  • Develop and execute plant operational strategies aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Oversee production planning, capacity management, manpower allocation, and resource optimization.
  • Ensure strict compliance with electronics industry standards and quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC standards where applicable).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Manage plant P&L, budgeting, cost control, and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and develop plant leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and performance excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, company policies, and local government requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with corporate management, customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI), production ramp-up, and plant expansion activities when required.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a plant or operations management role.
  • Must have solid background in electronics manufacturing / EMS (e.g. PCB assembly, box build, semiconductor, electronics modules).
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and manufacturing operations within the electronics industry.
  • Proven experience managing large manufacturing teams and multi-functional departments.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience in managing plant startup, expansion, or turnaround projects is an advantage.

Salary Range: RM15k - RM20k
