Job Summary
Responsible for handling the company's full set of accounts for an export-oriented manufacturing business, ensuring compliance with Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and export-related requirements while supporting daily financial operations.

Responsibilities
Full Set of Accounts
  • Handle the full accounting cycle, including raw material purchases, production material issuance, finished goods receipts, export customs declarations, and sales settlements.
  • Prepare accounting entries, maintain accurate accounting records, and ensure proper reconciliation between vouchers, accounts, and financial records.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and company policies.
  • Calculate depreciation, amortisation, taxes, and process necessary accounting adjustments.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, perform customer and supplier reconciliations, monitor collections, and support fixed asset and inventory management, including stocktake adjustments.
Export & Tax Management
  • Process export-related financial transactions, verify export revenue and costs, and prepare export declarations, shipping documents, invoices, and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate export tax refund applications and related filings to ensure compliance and maximise available tax incentives.
  • Handle Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Sales & Service Tax (SST), Personal Income Tax (PCB), and other tax filing and payment matters.
  • Apply Malaysian tax incentive policies (such as MIDA tax incentives) and support tax planning activities.
  • Manage invoice processing, including invoice receipt, issuance, verification, and certification.

Job Requirements (JR)
  • Minimum 3 years of full set accounting experience in an export-oriented manufacturing environment in Malaysia.
  • Familiar with export manufacturing accounting processes, including customs declarations, tax refunds, foreign exchange settlements, and full accounting cycle.
  • Able to independently liaise with Malaysian government authorities, including the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), and handle inspections, enquiries, and document submissions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
  • Candidates with Malaysian professional accounting qualifications (e.g. MIA C.A.(M), MICPA) are preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, company law, and export-related regulations.
  • Proficient in SQL Account, UBS Accounting, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ERP experience is an advantage.
  • Strong financial reporting, tax planning, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills.
  • Familiar with export tax refund procedures and export-related financial operations.

Working Days: 5-day work week
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary: RM9,000
