Job Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced individual to manage the U.S. accounting and financial reporting functions. This person will oversee all accounting operations, including U.S. financial consolidation, and provide accurate financial data to management and corporate accounting. The role includes leading an accounting team, driving process improvements, and supporting technology upgrades. Additionally, there will be opportunities to review legal and business development agreements, as well as contribute to other key areas of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close processes to ensure accurate reporting for U.S. entities.
  • Lead the consolidation of financial results for U.S. entities and ensure timely reporting to corporate headquarters.
  • Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, promoting collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Work closely with corporate accounting and other departments to resolve complex financial issues and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, implement automation, and introduce new technology solutions to improve reporting capabilities.
  • Address accounting discrepancies and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Support financial reviews of contracts, business development initiatives, and other strategic agreements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of quarterly and annual audits, while maintaining SOX compliance.
  • Handle special projects as needed, such as preparing statutory financial statements and participating in strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • At least 10 years of accounting or audit experience, ideally with a combination of public accounting and corporate roles.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, experience with SAP, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proven leadership experience.

Salary Range: $180k - $200k
