Manager of Financial Reporting (2468253)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to contribute to the preparation and management of consolidated financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and presentation of consolidated financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders, adhering to IFRS guidelines.
• Assist in the global reporting process, including annual and quarterly filings.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for individual entities, in compliance with local GAAP, such as UK or Swiss accounting standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems, and provide training to departments on financial controls to uphold a strong control environment.
• Aid in the coordination and management of external audits.
• Handle technical accounting matters, conducting research and drafting clear reports on topics under IFRS. Collaborate with regional accounting teams to ensure timely and compliant financial reporting.
• Assess business transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
• Develop and update global accounting policies and procedures to align with IFRS.
• Liaise with the Tax VP on compliance matters and work closely with legal and other departments.
• Oversee special projects and administrative duties as needed.
• Create and maintain a reporting database for external partners, including banks and counterparties.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Proficient in technical research and capable of summarizing findings clearly in written reports.
• A proactive and dynamic individual eager to grow with the company.
• Experience in managing teams, staff, or external advisors.

Salary Range: $150k - $175k
