About the job Custom Image Vectorization Designer
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Custom Image Vectorization Designer to support our team in converting logos, artwork, and other custom designs into high-quality vector files for engraving on drinkware. This role will involve primarily working with Adobe Illustrator, with occasional work in Photoshop (PSD). The ideal candidate will have experience in design and vectorization, with the ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work for our clients, including country clubs, golf courses, and breweries. Key Responsibilities:
Primary focus on creating vectorized designs for engraving on drinkware, with 90% of orders coming from country clubs, golf courses, and breweries.
Vectorize custom images (logos, artwork) using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
Prepare final designs for engraving on drinkware, delivering files in .AI and .PSD formats.
Collaborate closely with the senior graphic designer to ensure project alignment and expectations.
Work on 23 projects per week during slower seasons and 5+ projects during busy seasons, with an average of 1020 hours of work per week.
Meet a 48-hour turnaround time for each project, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Adjust design schedules as needed to accommodate workload and project deadlines during peak seasons.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, specifically in tracing and vectorizing images
Experience with Photoshop (.PSD) work for occasional design needs.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work efficiently and meet 48-hour project turnaround deadlines.
Flexibility to work during PST hours with a variable schedule.
Excellent communication skills to report directly to the senior graphic designer and take feedback for revisions.
