Position Summary
The Project Reporting Specialist is responsible for collecting, consolidating, and validating project data from consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting. The role supports the preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance indicators, while tracking progress against approved schedule and cost baselines. The position monitors risks, issues, trends, and deviations, ensuring clear communication of project performance and compliance with client reporting requirements. Working closely with planning, cost control, and technical teams, the role maintains reporting systems, templates, and documentation to support effective project controls and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and consolidate project data from consultants, contractors, and internal PMC teams.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc project reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Track project progress against approved baselines for schedule, cost, and milestones.
- Support preparation and updating of project KPIs, progress curves, and performance indicators.
- Assist in monitoring risks, issues, and mitigation actions for inclusion in reports.
- Coordinate with planning, cost control, and technical teams to validate reported data.
- Maintain reporting templates, logs, and document control for project reporting.
- Support progress meetings by preparing reports, minutes, and action trackers.
- Highlight deviations, trends, and potential risks in a clear and structured manner.
- Ensure consistency of reporting formats and compliance with Client reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in project reporting, planning, or project controls on infrastructure or railway projects.
- Strong understanding of project controls, progress measurement, and reporting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with reporting dashboards is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Primavera P6 and Power BI is required
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
