General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of the quality-related RFP/tender documents and requirements
  • Ensure that consultants and contractors comply with the requirements of the programs quality management plan
  • Manage quality surveys and audits on site.
  • Ensure the program parties implement and comply with the Expro requirements
  • Monitor personal qualifications for special operations.
  • Support the preparation of documents to protect Hill in the event of third party claims.
  • Prepare a quality metrics report related to site activities and submit it to the quality manager in a systematic manner.
  • Manage all product and process related non-conformities detected on site.
  • Manage the implementation of remedial and preventive measures.
  • Lead root cause analysis of non-conformities detected on site.
  • Lead the implementation of corrective actions on site.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvements at the site.
  • Review consultant/contractors quality related documentation
  • Ensuring the Project Quality Plan is correctly implemented to meet the requirements of the program.
  • Reviewing inspection reports are ensuring any actions required are initiated.
  • Ensuring contractors fulfil their quality system obligations.
  • Attending meetings called to discuss quality issues.
  • Identifying and documenting quality system problems.
  • Assisting with the updating of the Project Quality Plan.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering) from an accredited university.
  • Professional experience of at least 13+ years, in project management, or QAQC, and/or construction
  • Experience in establishing/maintaining quality management system
  • ISO9001 Audit certificates and/or 6-sigma certifications
  • Experience and familiarity with the cultural aspects of project management within the Kingdom.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality principles/tools and their applications to engineering, environment, procurement, construction, testing, operations or decommissioning.
  • Knowledge of applying reconciled corrective actions to cases of non-conformity.
  • Knowledge of organizational requirements and functional specializations that affect the quality plan program.
  • Possess popular and editorial communication skills.
  • Skill in managing financial performance.
  • Familiarity with the use of computer applications and programs.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
