Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a WHPA Contract Administration Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the contract administration process for our projects in these regions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand project contracts, including scope of work, terms and conditions, and payment terms
- Coordinate with project teams to establish contract administration procedures and ensure they are followed throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks related to contract compliance
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor contracts and change orders
- Prepare and submit progress reports to clients, highlighting any contract-related issues or concerns
- Conduct regular contract audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors to resolve any contract disputes or issues
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in regulations related to contract administration
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and finance, to ensure consistency and accuracy in contract administration processes
- Travel to project sites as needed to provide on-site support and oversight.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
