Position Summary:

Experienced professional in theme park and water park design, responsible for creating innovative attractions, rides, and visitor experiences. The role involves managing project schedules and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Works closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver engaging, high-quality, and memorable park experiences.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative and engaging attractions, rides, and experiences for theme parks and water parks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices
• Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met
• Oversee and manage contractors and vendors to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Participate in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the parks and attract visitors
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in theme park or water park design and development
• Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and safety standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
• Ability to travel to various locations as needed
• Passion for creating unique and memorable experiences for park visitors
