Position Summary:
Renewable Energy Specialist, is responsible in supporting our clients in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects. Responsible for providing technical expertise and project management support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies to project completion.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for potential renewable energy projects
- Develop project plans and budgets, and oversee project execution
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for project design and construction
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with project timelines and budget
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and senior management
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in renewable energy technology
- Mentor and train junior team members
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in renewable energy project development and management
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and industry regulations
- Experience with project management software and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for project site visits and client meetings
