General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares Project Methodology, Detailed Work Schedule, Procurement Plan, Resources Loading, and
  • Establishing Cash Flow needed for the project.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software.
  • Plans and develops three-week and three-month realistic look-ahead schedule.
  • Analyze project requirements and constraints to determine project durations and resource requirements.
  • Re-planning and establishing of Impacted schedule.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure that project schedules are realistic and achievable.
  • Develops and implements acceptable planning and scheduling techniques and methods.
  • Leads the development and analysis of project schedules, time impact and delay analysis and review of
  • periodic schedule updates and claims.
  • Monitors and updates accurate schedule progress reports. Maintains records of scope changes, trends, and
  • variances that potentially affect schedule performance.
  • Assists in monitoring actual manpower, critical materials and major equipment requirement of the project.
  • Prepares Project Monthly Progress Report including observations and comments, photographs, resource
  • loading and issues concerning the project.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project schedules and
  • milestones.
  • Provide support to project teams in resolving scheduling conflicts and issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in project scheduling and planning.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals
  • and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements
  • while employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
    
    
    Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in planning and scheduling including having worked as the scheduling
  • manager on large-scale projects.
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include
  • schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office.
  • Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Skilled in verbal and written communication.
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized
  • instruction or practical experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently
  • with minimal supervision. This includes using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to
  • technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design, construction, and procurement practices.
  • Professional user of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and EPPM platform.
  • Ability to review and analyze project schedule and contractor performance
