Position Summary:
Hill International is seeking a qualified and experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering coordination and integration efforts across multidisciplinary teams on large-scale construction and infrastructure projects under a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model. The Engineering Manager will ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements in terms of quality, compliance, and constructability.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all engineering aspects of the project, from design review to construction support.

Coordinate with architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist engineering disciplines.

Ensure that engineering deliverables comply with codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements.

Review design submissions, technical reports, drawings, and calculations from consultants and contractors.

Resolve technical conflicts and ensure timely response to RFIs, design clarifications, and change requests.

Support construction teams with technical expertise, including reviewing method statements and shop drawings.

Facilitate value engineering reviews, constructability analysis, and technical workshops.

Lead interdisciplinary coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration between design and site execution.

Monitor engineering progress against schedule and report issues or delays to project leadership.

Liaise with permitting authorities to support approval processes when necessary.

Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering; Masters degree preferred.

Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering roles within major construction or infrastructure projects.

Prior experience in PMC or consultancy environments in the Middle East is strongly preferred.

Broad technical knowledge across multiple engineering disciplines.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools, and coordination platforms like Navisworks or BIM 360.
