Position Summary:

Project Manager responsible for overseeing all phases of cultural projects, including budget, schedule, quality, and resource management, from initiation through completion. The role collaborates with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, monitors progress, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Additionally, it involves maintaining project documentation, providing leadership to project teams, conducting site visits, and implementing best practices to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cultural projects from initiation to completion, including budget, schedule, quality, and resources
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project requirements are met
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including mentoring and coaching
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are met
  • Participate in project meetings and provide timely and accurate updates on project status
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are implemented
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize project delivery

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in cultural projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • PMP certification is a plus
