Talent Pool - Quality Manager - Construction Supervision

Position Summary:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) systems across Hills supervision projects. The role ensures construction activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

• Supervise the work of QA/QC engineers and inspectors across all disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, MEP).

• Ensure that contractors QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures are aligned with project requirements.

• Conduct internal quality audits and inspections to assess compliance and performance.

• Review and approve contractor submittals related to materials, method statements, and testing procedures.

• Lead root cause analyses for non-conformances and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor and report on quality metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Interface with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies on all quality-related issues.

• Prepare monthly quality reports and participate in project review meetings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is required; IRCA or ASQ certifications are preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in quality management, including 5+ years in a similar QA/QC managerial role on large construction projects in the Middle East.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of international construction codes, quality standards, and local authority requirements 

• Skills: Attention to detail, leadership, team coordination, and excellent report writing and communication skills.
