Position Summary:
The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) systems across Hills supervision projects. The role ensures construction activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

Supervise the work of QA/QC engineers and inspectors across all disciplines (civil, structural, architectural, MEP).

Ensure that contractors QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality procedures are aligned with project requirements.

Conduct internal quality audits and inspections to assess compliance and performance.

Review and approve contractor submittals related to materials, method statements, and testing procedures.

Lead root cause analyses for non-conformances and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor and report on quality metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Interface with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies on all quality-related issues.

Prepare monthly quality reports and participate in project review meetings.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Certifications: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is required; IRCA or ASQ certifications are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in quality management, including 5+ years in a similar QA/QC managerial role on large construction projects in the Middle East.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of international construction codes, quality standards, and local authority requirements

Skills: Attention to detail, leadership, team coordination, and excellent report writing and communication skills.
