Position Overview:
Hill International is seeking a highly organized and proactive Interface Manager to lead and coordinate all interface activities between multiple stakeholders, disciplines, and contractors on major projects delivered under a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model. The Interface Manager ensures seamless integration of project components across design, engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an interface management strategy tailored to the project scope.

Identify, track, and resolve interface issues between contractors, consultants, utilities, and authorities.

Facilitate regular coordination meetings between internal and external stakeholders to manage interfaces proactively.

Maintain an Interface Matrix and Interface Register to document responsibilities, dependencies, and actions.

Collaborate with design, engineering, planning, and construction teams to align schedules and milestones.

Monitor progress of interface deliverables and escalate unresolved issues to senior management.

Ensure design and construction interfaces are well-coordinated to avoid clashes or delays.

Manage interfaces with third-party entities such as government agencies, service providers, and adjacent project teams.

Support technical integration and systems handover planning across work packages.

Prepare interface reports and updates for inclusion in project progress documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure or major construction projects, with at least 5 years in interface management roles.

Prior experience in PMC or large consultancy firms is highly desirable, especially in the Middle East.

Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination across civil, MEP, systems, and utilities.

Familiar with interface risks and integration of complex construction phases.
