Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee mechanical and machinery projects in the MENA and Europe regions
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with clients and other team members
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and senior management
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
- Review and approve design plans, specifications, and drawings
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meets project requirements
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project team members
- Identify and resolve any project issues or delays in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on technical matters
- Prepare project reports and presentations for clients and senior management
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in mechanical and machinery engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 + years of experience in mechanical and machinery engineering, preferably in the MENA and Europe regions
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and machinery systems, equipment, and materials
- Experience in project management and construction management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
