Position Summary:

As a Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems for various projects.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to determine the most suitable water supply and wastewater treatment systems for the project
• Design and develop water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water supply and wastewater treatment systems
• Oversee the construction and installation of water supply and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning of water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
• Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in water supply and wastewater treatment to continuously improve project designs and processes
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential hazards in water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems
• -rain and mentor junior engineers and technicians in water supply and wastewater treatment design and construction techniques

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and managing water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water supply and wastewater treatment
• Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and WaterCAD
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
