Job Description:
Hill International is seeking qualified and experienced Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Engineers to join our talent pool for future projects. As a Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to determine the most suitable water supply and wastewater treatment systems for the project
- Design and develop water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Prepare detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water supply and wastewater treatment systems
- Oversee the construction and installation of water supply and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure the proper functioning of water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
- Stay updated with the latest developments and technologies in water supply and wastewater treatment to continuously improve project designs and processes
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential hazards in water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems
- -rain and mentor junior engineers and technicians in water supply and wastewater treatment design and construction techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and managing water supply networks and wastewater treatment systems
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to water supply and wastewater treatment
- Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and WaterCAD
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
