About the job Survey Engineer (E3-5)
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction layout surveys using total stations, GPS, and other survey equipment
- Analyze survey data and prepare reports, maps, and drawings for use by project teams
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of survey data
- Monitor and maintain survey equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
- Train and supervise junior survey staff on proper survey techniques and procedures
- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure survey requirements are met
- Conduct quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Keep accurate records of survey data, including field notes, sketches, and digital files
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any survey-related issues or concerns
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on job sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Survey Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and procedures
- Experience with AutoCAD and other survey software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
