Position Summary:

The Oil and Gas Talent Pool Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a skilled network of professionals, including engineers, project managers, and technical experts, to meet client project needs. They collaborate with clients to understand requirements, source and screen candidates, and ensure alignment with company values and culture. Additionally, they develop strategies for talent retention and career development, stay updated on industry trends, and maintain strong relationships with clients, universities, and industry organizations.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive talent pool of professionals in the oil and gas industry, including engineers, project managers, and other technical experts
  • Collaborate with our clients to understand their project requirements and identify the necessary skills and experience needed for their projects
  • Source, screen, and interview potential candidates to ensure they meet the requirements of our clients and align with the company's values and culture
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, universities, and other organizations to attract top talent to our talent pool
  • Develop and implement strategies for talent retention and career development within the talent pool
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes to ensure our talent pool remains competitive and relevant
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new hires from the talent pool

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong knowledge of the oil and gas industry and its various job roles and requirements
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining a talent pool or network of professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and candidates
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in using recruitment software and other relevant tools
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
