Positions Summary:

The Power Generation, Distribution, and Transmission role involves managing and executing projects across the full lifecycle, from feasibility studies and technical evaluations to design, construction, and commissioning. The position requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety, quality, and environmental regulations, and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders. Participants will gain experience in project planning, resource management, risk assessment, and technical reporting within the power sector.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations for power generation, distribution, and transmission projects
• Develop project plans and schedules, and manage project budgets and resources
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
• Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other project documentation
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in power generation, distribution, and transmission projects
• Strong project management skills and experience in managing complex projects
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel for project assignments
