Position Summary:
The Project Manager leads the full lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and according to contract and quality requirements. They manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors, and oversee all project phases from design and procurement to construction, testing, and handover. The role also involves risk management, change control, and reporting to senior management while enforcing safety, environmental, and quality standards.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Manage the overall project execution plan and ensure compliance with project objectives, schedule, and budget.

Oversee all project phases including design management, procurement, construction supervision, testing & commissioning, and handover.

Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineering, planning, contracts, HSE, and quality control specialists.

Serve as the primary liaison between the client, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage change control processes.

Ensure project documentation is maintained and in compliance with contract requirements.

Report regularly to the Project Director and client on project progress, risks, costs, and quality status.

Conduct site inspections, chair meetings, and ensure timely resolution of project issues.

Promote and enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Assist in the evaluation of contractor performance and administer claims and variations.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

Masters degree or MBA is a plus.

Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in a project management role on major infrastructure or building projects.

Previous experience working in the Middle East in a PMC environment is highly preferred.

Solid understanding of FIDIC contracts and international construction practices.

Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Ability to manage multiple project components simultaneously.

Skilled in stakeholder management and conflict resolution.

Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and project management tools.
