We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that projects are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and construction schedules

- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for potential projects

- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors

- Monitor project progress and costs, and provide regular reports to management and clients

- Identify potential cost-saving measures and recommend alternative materials or methods

- Prepare and submit progress claims and variations to clients

- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with contract specifications

- Resolve any issues or disputes related to costs or contracts

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in costs of materials and labor

- Mentor and train junior quantity surveyors on best practices and procedures

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

- Excellent knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and project management principles

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Proficient in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and cost estimating software

- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed

- Fluency in English, both written and verbal

- Professional certification (e.g. RICS, CIOB) is a plus
