Position Overview:
Hill International is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to oversee the execution of complex construction works on major infrastructure or building projects. Operating under a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) model, the Senior Construction Manager is responsible for supervising contractors, enforcing project standards, managing progress, and ensuring safe, quality-driven delivery in accordance with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day construction activities and site operations to ensure alignment with project goals.

Supervise construction teams and monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, design, and specifications.

Review and approve method statements, work programs, construction sequencing, and logistics plans.

Ensure adherence to all HSE policies and procedures, proactively managing site safety and risk mitigation.

Coordinate across multiple disciplines (civil, MEP, structural, architectural) to ensure effective site integration.

Attend and lead regular site coordination meetings with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

Monitor progress against schedule, identify variances, and recommend recovery actions.

Work closely with planning, quality, and cost control teams to support integrated project delivery.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports.

Assist in resolving technical issues and providing site-level leadership for construction challenges.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 20 years of relevant construction experience, including 5+ years in a senior management or lead role.

Strong background in managing contractors and overseeing field execution on large-scale infrastructure/building projects.

Experience in a PMC or engineering consultancy environment preferred.

In-depth knowledge of international standards (e.g., FIDIC), project controls, and local construction regulations.
