General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning and formulation of design alternatives and solutions for the construction project.
  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the
  • scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business
  • goals/objectives.
  • Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the
  • department.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Communicate with the Clients representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and areas of
  • concerns.
  • Develop and administer project budgets and fiscal controls, contracts, and quality control provisions.
  • Direct work sequencing to expedite projects delivery and to minimize disruption of ongoing operations.
  • Ensure that projects operations are in compliance with design specifications and with client requirements.
  • Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals
  • and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while
  • employed by Hill.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 20 years experience in managing large-scale infrastructure programs consist of multiple projects.
  • Experience of major government and/or semi-government program and projects implementations.
  • Extensive Experience in the construction management of water and wastewater works.
  • Experience of implementing a zero accident philosophy.
  • A record of engagement with government entities / utility providers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working internationally
