Position Summary:

The PMIS Manager oversees the implementation, configuration, and operation of project management information systems (PMIS) such as Oracle Unifier, Aconex, PMWeb, or Procore, ensuring seamless integration across planning, cost, procurement, and document control disciplines. They manage data integrity, user access, reporting, and dashboards, provide training and technical support, and establish governance protocols to drive efficient, data-driven project delivery. Additionally, they troubleshoot system issues, liaise with software vendors, and lead digital transformation initiatives to optimize project controls and reporting in a PMC environment.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and operation of PMIS platforms (e.g., Oracle Primavera Unifier, Aconex, PMWeb, Procore, etc.).

  • Oversee system configuration, data management, user access controls, and technical support.

  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to define requirements and ensure optimal use of PMIS tools across disciplines (planning, cost, procurement, etc.).

  • Provide training and technical support to client and project teams on PMIS use.

  • Monitor data integrity, ensure timely input of project data, and generate automated dashboards and reports.

  • Integrate PMIS with other systems such as ERP, BIM, scheduling software, and document control platforms.

  • Establish data governance protocols and standard procedures for digital project delivery.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage upgrades, and liaise with software vendors as needed.

  • Ensure project information is stored, tracked, and accessible in compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and promote efficient, data-driven project management practices.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in PMIS management for major construction/infrastructure projects.

  • Hands-on experience with PMIS platforms like Oracle Unifier, Aconex, PM Web, Procore, or similar tools.

  • Experience in a PMC or large consultancy environment in the Middle East is highly preferred.

  • Solid understanding of project controls, reporting, workflows, and digital document management.

  • Strong technical proficiency with enterprise project systems

  • Ability to translate technical functionality into user-friendly applications

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to train, support, and lead digital adoption across diverse teams
