Position Summary:
The BIM Manager – PMC leads the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling strategies across all design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards and ISO 19650 protocols. They manage multidisciplinary models, oversee clash detection, quantity take-offs, and 4D/5D construction planning, while maintaining a Common Data Environment for accurate data exchange. Additionally, they provide technical leadership, train teams, support digital handover processes, and prepare reports and presentations for clients and senior management.
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in accordance with ISO 19650 standards.

Oversee and manage BIM workflows for design coordination, clash detection, quantity take-offs, and construction planning.

Ensure all consultants and contractors comply with the projects BIM standards and protocols.

Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary models (architecture, structure, MEP, infrastructure).

Lead model review sessions and identify design conflicts or coordination issues.

Establish and enforce a Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure accurate model and data exchange.

Provide technical leadership in using software such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Synchro, and other relevant tools.

Support digital asset management and handover documentation for operations and facilities management (COBie, IFC formats).

Train and mentor internal teams and stakeholders on BIM processes, standards, and tools.

Prepare BIM progress reports and presentations for client and senior management.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 12-15 years of experience in BIM, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

Strong experience in PMC or consultancy environments, preferably on high-value Middle East projects.

In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and other global BIM standards.

Expertise in Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Dynamo, and other digital collaboration tools.
Strong leadership in digital construction and modeling environments

Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design integration

Skilled in model-based construction and 4D/5D planning

Proactive communication and stakeholder management
